DHRUVKAUL
Hey everyone, I'm Dhruv! I earned my Bachelor's in Computer Science at the University of Southern California in May 2026, and I'm also finishing my Master's there in December 2026. I have work experience across startups and fintech.
Currently, I'm developing a core AI pipeline for a global sportswear brand's analytics platform. I've also built data pipelines analyzing 1.2M+ customers and a World Cup site that helped 25,000+ fans follow the tournament and plan their trips.
Experience
I'm currently working on a computer vision pipeline for a leading global sportswear brand's analytics platform, which tracks how its products show up across media on 30+ pro athletes in 7 sports. The pipeline recognizes exact products from a 2,400+ item catalog in photos and video. I also designed a separate image segmentation pipeline that improved product identification, accounting for 73% of successful product retrievals.
I developed backend Java services that automated loan approval workflows, helping increase credit approvals by 20%. I also built Python pipelines on AWS to predict credit card application likelihood for 1.2M+ customers, enabling more targeted mailing campaigns.
I worked with researchers and historians on an AR app surfacing 3.6M+ digitized cultural artifacts from national archives. My computer vision model read image-embedded scale bars to estimate real-world artifact dimensions and ensure they displayed properly in the app, improving true-to-size artifact display accuracy by 53%.
I led a team of 5 shipping a GenAI Q&A chatbot on an anime and manga Web3 platform backed by Japan's $1B "DigiDen" initiative.
Projects
StillInIt.app ↗
I noticed a gap before the 2026 World Cup. With 48 teams spread across three host countries, fans had no way to see where their team might play next depending on how they finished, so I built a platform that combines live standings with prediction-market odds to show each team's chances and likely travel path, helping fans book tickets before prices went up. I piped Kalshi and ESPN data into a Monte Carlo simulation engine for minute-level probabilities, and shipped features fans asked for.
Addison ↗
A cross-platform ADHD productivity app with brain-dump, focus timer, and reflection flows. I led a team of 6 and built 10+ modular React Native screens, improving responsiveness ~40%.
